We have two, high specification ranges of Hollow Square Mortise Chisels and Bit sets, both designed to be compatible with a large range of chisel mortising machines. Both ranges are of excellent quality, being manufactured from the finest, select carbon steel and specially heat treated to achieve the ultimate in uniformity and hardness to create precise, square slots in either soft or hard wood.

Armac Elite Range

The Armac Elite range is our own design of chisel, manufactured in the UK of high quality, solid carbon steel which is unsurpassed in terms of longevity and performance. This process is far superior to the once forged predecessor, which had a tendency to split due to the coarse grain structure of the metal. Our chisel is very generous in length, allowing for ease of re-sharpening when necessary. The extremely sharp cutting edges give an excellent finish and the internal design assists in efficient chip ejection.
